What does 'free' mean with Peppol?

The network is open. You do not pay 'Peppol' itself per invoice.
An access point usually charges a subscription or an amount per document. Some providers have a free tier for small volumes.
Invoicing software sometimes has a free plan, but it does not always send over Peppol.

What does PeppolKit's free plan cover?

10 invoices a month, with the right VAT, reverse charge, credit notes and a PDF and UBL file for each invoice.
Peppol sending: for WooCommerce, PrestaShop and bol.com, Peppol goes through your own free Peppyrus account, up to 100 a month. On Shopify, 5 Peppol sends a month are included.
Above your Peppol bundle, sending waits until next month. The invoice and the UBL file are still made.

Who is that enough for?

For a webshop that mostly sells to consumers and now and then gets a business order: a hair salon stocking up, an architect ordering a lamp. Consumers get a regular invoice and do not count towards Peppol.

When do you need more?

As soon as you sell to businesses every week, you want more invoices and more Peppol sends. Paid plans start at €9 a month, see the pricing. In Belgium you can, under conditions, deduct e-invoicing software at 120%, see the 120% deduction.

What do you have to arrange yourself?

Install PeppolKit for your platform.
Create your free Peppyrus account (for Peppol sending on WooCommerce, PrestaShop and bol.com).
Ask for your business customers' VAT number at checkout.
